This Time It's for Real...A New First for Edelbrand Pure Distilling

Technology in the hands of the technically challenged often has unintended consequences.  Sorry for the false alarm last week.  This Is The Real Thing:  Edelbrand’s very first-ever blog post.

This message may very well knock some of you off whatever seat you’re occupying. Yes, this is, in fact, the launch of Edelbrand Pure Distilling’s blog. This space will be used every couple of weeks or so to say hello, stay in touch, keep you posted, take you behind the scenes, give you a heads-up, mark your calendars, invite you over, share a laugh which, honestly, can all be summed up in one word: connection. This is a space to connect with you. And in this tilt-a-whirl world of COVID-19, we believe it is the most important thing we (all) can do – stay connected, make connections, and encourage others to do the same.

So, we lead the launch of our blog with a few thought bubbles on the topic of collaboration. Truth is Edelbrand would not be in its sixth year of existence without the shared connections from family, friends, and colleagues as well as the many collaborations we’ve had the good fortune to be a part of since 2014. It takes a small village to raise a distillery, and our ‘village’ is a thriving community full of supportive folks. We are fortunate and very thankful and do our best to offer as much back as we receive.

An Evening With Our Tastemakers

Our newest collaborative effort is a first for us. Next month, Edelbrand’s distiller Martin Weber partners with Lost Creek Vineyard’s vintner Larry Frichtel for an evening in the vineyard. We’re putting two tastemakers front and center for a highly interactive and personalized tasting and pairing event featuring Edelbrand spirits, Lost Creek Vineyard wines, and locally-produced foods. Few folks know that Lost Creek grapes are found in three of Edelbrand’s four vinars da vin spirits. This award-winning spirit, recognized on the international stage for its quality and nuance, will be spotlighted during this special evening. For more information and tickets, please visit the Lost Creek Vineyards website. We hope to see you!
